From Mali to Raleigh

An exhibition that featured the photography of Malian artist Malick Sidibé and American artist Cornell Watson. From Mali to Raleigh invited viewers to explore and experience 1960s Bamako and modern-day North Carolina through the lens of the respective artist representing the kindred connection of Black life across the African diaspora, bridging an oceanic grape whose connection transcends the past and present.

Presented to the Research-Triangle community by creative-stewards Cassilhaus and rising black curators N'gamet Keïta and Nori McDuffie.
